ABSTRACT
Stories have yet another magical quality: fully developed sentences borrowed from someone else. The dialogue can change a child from inarticulate embarrassment to confidence, as if by a magic wand. The only
task required is to memorise the words. With enough practice, anyone can do this, because the practice is part of the reward.
