ABSTRACT
Though specifically defining World Heritage Sites, the First Division in UNESCO's view, such characterizations serve reasonably as a general definition of all cultural sites, albeit maybe of less high grade 'importance' to the world. Essentially, cultural sites, whether World Heritage Sites or world heritage sites, share the same common characteristics, their differences being merely those of quality as defined on a certain yardstick.
