ABSTRACT

In Chapter 3.3, appropriate ways of educating and informing about cultural sites were considered. The emphasis was upon communicating relevant knowledge effectively, in a way that would be as compelling as possible, and in that context, therefore, how to entertain was considered. The aim, though, was not to show how to entertain directly, but rather how to use entertaining methods when communicating for the purposes of education and information dissemination. This chapter's aim, on the other hand, takes as a primary objective how to make a cultural site entertaining for a visitor in a way that is appropriate to that particular site.
