ABSTRACT
The educational system of Denmark is very much aimed at creating possibilities for the integration of different groups in society: children from different social classes, children with special needs and children from other ethnic groups. As a consequence, the education is hardly split up: the large majority of children attend the public school, the so-called Folkeskole.
