ABSTRACT

I was one of them…I’d never seen anyone cut-up before, but I went and did it. I felt helpless, I wasn’t attention-seeking. It was all there was left to do…hit in. I was warned, told to hide it: They’ll wash their hands of you!’. They saw it; they said: ‘People like you make me sick.’ They screamed at me, then ignored me. No-one ever asked me, ‘how do you feel?’.
