ABSTRACT
With the Uruguay Round now complete, attention has necessarily switched to the future. Two questions in particular need to be addressed. Firstly, what are likely to be the effects of the Uruguay Round as and when it is fully implemented? Secondly, what issues will dominate the agenda of multilateral trade negotiations as the world enters the twenty-first century? This chapter modestly seeks to examine both these issues.
