ABSTRACT

Fund-raising is now an integral part of life for most schools for a variety of reasons, from government cutbacks in educational spending to increased expectations on the part of students, teachers and parents. The introduction of LMS has made school managers more aware of finance, especially because of its uneven effects on different schools. Even those schools that have not suffered disproportionately from the reallocation of resources caused by the advent of LMS are under ever-increasing pressure to obtain those extras that will make the school more attractive to prospective students and their parents.
