ABSTRACT
This is the first attempt, as far as I know, to analyse the popular Australian actress and singer’s career in terms of the view of history proposed by Karl Marx in his Eighteenth Brumaire of Louis Bonaparte. It transpires that the lessons of history are as farcical as ever.
