ABSTRACT

Although ecological crises are by no means a new phenomenon in the history of humankind,1 the present environmental problems and their perception show some peculiarities that deserve attention. In addition, it is assumed that the environmental changes may lead to political and economic destabilization on a global scale with unforeseeable effects.2
