ABSTRACT
The modern fields of scientific research—pattern recognition and artificial intelligence—are very much interested in mechanisms representing recognition. Recognition is the psychological process of attributing an object being presented to a known class of objects, through the use of various data complexes. These may include generalized sensori-visual portraits of a class, with categorization proceeding by the criterion of closeness to them. Alternatively, finite set of logical signs may be used in this process.
