ABSTRACT
Most of the chapters of this book are concerned with understanding the relationship between teacher and student or pupil, with the factors which can facilitate or hinder learning within the environment of the school. The authors hope to increase the teachers’ own understanding and ability to deal with the problems that arise and to encourage practices that seem most helpful.
