ABSTRACT
Although sexual aggressors are part of a heterogeneous population, there is a considerable amount of overlap in the motivational determinants of sexually aggressive behavior. Across samples of sexually aggressive men, some sexually aggressive acts are considered primarily paraphilic and others primarily violent. A radio bandwidth model with channels of varying strength may be a useful way to conceptualize the various motivational variables of sexual aggression in different samples.
