ABSTRACT

Describing group treatment for persons who have been diagnosed with a form of psychosis is a difficult task at this time in mental health services. The population that requires specialized attention because of a diagnosis of schizophrenia, bi-polar or severe depression, paranoia, and other serious conditions that interfere with functioning in the world, are offered treatment within a broad spectrum of services. To present a plan for group therapy using the art modality depends entirely on the setting and the policy of the hospital or facility. To make some sense of the present day in-patient services, I will follow the programs according to their time line.
