ABSTRACT

The child and young person grows, develops and is socialized in her or his orientation family (the individual’s childhood family). When adult the individual will usually get married and have a child or children of his or her own in his or her reproductive family, where the next generation will develop and be reared. In what way and how strongly do the experiences in the orientation family later affect the new pair relation and the motherchild and father-child relation in the reproductive family? Generally, what are the relations between the orientation family and reproductive family as regards the formation of interaction in the reproductive family?
