ABSTRACT
In the examples presented up to this point each nominal has had a continuous career from the initial to the final stratum. This chapter introduces arcs that have no final co-ordinate and arcs that have no initial coordinate. The former type is posited for one type of reflexive and the latter type for impersonal constructions.
