ABSTRACT
The study of the performance of individuals with brain damage represents a rich source of information for the understanding of the organization and functioning of the human cognitive system. The detailed analysis of patients' performance may help us to constrain hypotheses about the nature of both the representations and the mechanisms involved in various cognitive functions. In this chapter we focus on the analysis of the performance of patients with naming deficits.
