ABSTRACT
We are assuming that the child now knows the sounds made by the different letters. It is wise, however, before you start the programme, to check that this is so, using the procedure indicated in the previous chapter, i.e. by presenting him with letters and asking him to make the correct sound and by giving him sounds and asking him to choose or write the correct letter.
