ABSTRACT
Finally there is a section describing the influence of the cerebellum on motor movements. Sometimes described as the "little brain" it is attached to the brain stem and is situated under the shelf provided by the occipital lobe. Movements that require balance and coordination are often undermined by damage to this area, which has connections to the other motor areas described.
