ABSTRACT

The previous chapter gives several examples of the use of different activities and themes with a selection of client groups. However, this book is not the place for a detailed discussion of the needs of all possible client groups. Leaders and therapists are well advised to read about and attend courses on the characteristics and needs of their clients; there are many sources of information on these topics. Further information on art therapy with some client groups may be found in Art as Therapy edited by Tessa Dalley (Tavistock, London/Methuen, New York, 1984).
