If we are to contemplate an extension of dispute resolution methods and practice in the future, the three elements in this part are necessary concomitants of that. First, a need to find ways of training third parties for the skills of intervention. Second, a research programme to evaluate the various techniques and practices. Finally, a strategy for raising awareness of ADR methods and practice, and for encouraging initiatives and action.
