ABSTRACT
JAIMINI (430-370 B.C.): The founder of the Mīmā sā school of Indian thought, Jaimini was the author of the Mīmā sā Sutra (ca. 400 B.C.), admitting the reality of the Vedic deities, to whom sacrifices are offered, but not arguing for the existence of a supreme deity.
