ABSTRACT

This chapter presents a series of suggestions and examples of activities which you can use to help your students learn more effectively. These suggestions are based upon the work in the earlier chapters of the book. The chapter is divided into two main sections: helping students learn in formal sessions (lectures, small group sessions, laboratories) and helping students learn from private study (reading, writing, and problem-solving). Examples of activities which are integral to the text are provided throughout the chapter. Additional activities are given at the end of the chapter.
