ABSTRACT

This chapter outlines a number of activities which could be adopted for staff discussion meetings or more formal in-service training sessions. They are appropriate for use by a gathering the size of an average school staff. Each is freestanding, and aims to enhance thinking or practice on some aspect of geographical education or environmental geography. Thus the activities are not in any particular order, nor are they intended to follow on from each other in a planned sequence. They are intended to be thought-provoking, useful, relevant to every staff member, and indeed fun to take part in. They aim to provide practical reflection on a number of theoretical issues raised in this book.
