ABSTRACT

I have already spoken about the evacuated child, and tried to show that where evacuation has been a success _this has not been a matter of chance, but in every case something of an achievement. You will have guessed already that 1 am not likely to say that the return of the evacuated child is a simple and straightforward matter. Indeed I can't say it because t don't believe it. The homecoming of the child who has had a long period from home is well worth thinking out, because careless management at the critical moment can so easily lead to bitterness.
