ABSTRACT
A great deal has been written recently on the subject of separation and its effects. The effects can be stated in tenns of clinical findings, and there is now considerable agreement as to what may be expected when there is a separation of the infant or smaU child from the parent figure over a period of time which is too long. It is established that there is a relationship between the antisocial tendency and deprivation.
