ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we are providing brief summaries and extracts to illustrate the range of communication syllabuses that are currently available. This is by no means an exhaustive collection of all the syllabuses that are available for pupils of school age and for students in further education. But in ranging from City and Guilds Communication Skills, through some vocational education requirements such as secretarial qualifications, BTEC schemes and the Youth Training Scheme and through A level syllabuses, we hope that we can indicate something of the range of what is available.
