ABSTRACT
It is remarkable that whereas the Lak Glacier has so greatly shrunk of later years, this Chur Glacier, its immediate neighbour, and which drains another flank of the self-same mountains, should, on the contrary, have greatly swollen. It overflows all its moraines and pours in a broken spreading wave on to the surface of the Hispar.
