ABSTRACT

No country in the world can live in isolation. Interdependence has become the norm, enhanced by advancements in technology and the emergence of the Internet and satellites. In a matter of seconds, someone in Jordan can know what is happening in the USA, China, South Africa or Japan. Gone are the days when people of a certain country would stay there for life. People are moving, interacting and understanding each other more; cultures are crossing borders; languages are inter-mixed; first-hand experience and primary sources are more easily at hand.
