ABSTRACT
This book brings together, for the first time within one convenient volume, the wide range of legislation relating to occupational health and safety which has been developed at the level of the European Communities. It also sets that legislation in the economic and industrial relations context which has largely influenced that development throughout the past thirty years, and provides a survey of the gradual expansion of Community activities in this important field.
