ABSTRACT
The role of the Home-School Link (or Liaison) teachers referred to in this study is complex, for each responds, often in differing ways, to the individual needs of their own area. These teachers are directly responsible to the Headteacher of the local school to which they are attached. Their role is to promote, and encourage, improved links between the home, the school and other professional agencies.
