ABSTRACT
Matthew is six years old with a balanced height-weight ratio for a boy of his age and no apparent physical disability. He is not an articulate child and on closer examination his receptive, interpretive and expressive language is a weak link in his learning. He frequently draws attention to himself when he fails to understand a task through noisy, disruptive behaviour, by exhibiting an over-confidence or displaying obvious signs of boredom and disinterest.
