ABSTRACT
Sometimes I feel sorry for the professions in general and lawyers in particular as they uneasily try to adapt to the brave new world of competition. One of the signs of any industry that is competitive is the need to plan. Who are the competitors? How do competitors compare in terms of strengths and weaknesses relative to each other? How are growth opportunities and decline trends identified?
