ABSTRACT

When I interviewed Meridel Le Sueur in the summer of 1991, she was reading Julia Kristeva. We did not talk much about what Le Sueur thought of Kristeva, but it was clear that Le Sueur felt that through the French feminists she had found an updated means of connecting her work with the theorizing of a new generation.
