ABSTRACT

Many victims of workplace violence would never have expected it could happen to them. Often these attacks seem unprovoked, unpredictable, and unwarranted. While violently explosive criminals are dealt with by law enforcement, there are many explosives who have worked their way up the organization ladder, but they never quite cross over the line from inappropriate to illegal. Yet the employees who work for explosive bosses are very much victims, as are the pieces of furniture that get broken and the ashtrays and paperweights that get thrown. The only difference is that employees working for these explosive bosses don't have the help of the

police. These workers are, instead, left to handle the situation on their own.
