ABSTRACT

Anxious bosses are organizational hermits. But they don't just slink into seclusion, they actively bury themselves there. Generally uncomfortable in the presence of others, anxious bosses find themselves in quite a predicament, since by definition supervision involves other individuals. Working for an anxious boss presents a challenge similar to the one depicted in the film Catch-22, in which the boss invites workers to his office only when he is not there!
