In a given situation, if there is a uniform connexion between two occurrences A and B, then an occurrence exactly like A though numerically different from it will be accompanied or followed by an occurrence exactly like B though numerically different from it (and an occurrence exactly like B though numerically different from it will be accompanied or preceded by an occurrence exactly like A though numerically different from it).
