ABSTRACT
This Order of Darvishes commence their devotions by reciting the fātiha, the [2nd] chapter of the Qurān called the baqra [of the ’ Heifer’ 1 ] (or Iām-alif), the aurād, and the tauhīd. Those prayers for their pīr and the Sultān are simply du’ā, or supplications.
