ABSTRACT
There is no overlooking the fact that women do not yet feel ‘at home’ in both worlds. Their psychological conflicts are symptoms of the underlying uncertainty of their economic and social role. If they are to be integrated more fully into our society than has been the case so far, changes in individual attitudes of both men and women, adjustments in the labour market, and action by public authorities, will all be necessary.
