ABSTRACT
‘Children first’ is the motto writ large over all discussions I of the merits and demerits of married women’s employment. Our children are our stake in the future; hence their well-being is of vital concern to society as well as to us personally. And as we have brought them into this world, it is our responsibility to make them, as best we can, fit to live in it happily and successfully.
