ABSTRACT
Helping behaviour Staying on the Olympics theme, one of the most spectacular features of London 2012 was the impact of the Gamesmakers. The 70,000 people who were selected from the quarter of a million applicants transformed London and impressed everyone who took part or spectated at the games. Their behaviour challenged our expectations about when and where people will help and what they expect in return.
