ABSTRACT
Finding effective treatment for young people to reduce reoffending and prevent imprisonment or placement into the care system has been a challenge for forensic practitioners in the past. Research evidence for interventions that work has been in short supply. Multisystemic Therapy (MST) is unusual as it is a well-researched effective alternative to expensive and often ineffective custodial sentences.
