ABSTRACT
It is important to be aware that there is not necessarily a right or wrong way of writing up criminological research. In many ways there is little difference between writing up criminological research and other social sciences research, and many of the decisions you take about how best to write up your research will be informed by the nature of the research. For example: did you use primary or secondary data? Was your research qualitative or quantitative, or did you use a mixed methods approach?
