ABSTRACT

This section of the book includes chapters which explore the different ways in which

teaching, learning and assessment takes place in business education classrooms and

reflects some of the approaches commonly employed. It also reflects some of the

contexts in which teaching and learning in business education takes place, such as

applied business or enterprise. Overall, the purpose of this chapter and those that

follow is not to attempt to provide a theoretical understanding of learning processes

but to give insights into what teachers and learners do in the contexts in which

teaching and learning takes place.
