ABSTRACT

For those teachers who prefer to devote lesson time to active learning, discussion and

development of thinking and writing skills rather than delivery of content, an attractive

feature is that the information sheets provide students with a set of basic notes, relatively

brief and useful for revision. Students answer on the worksheets, which then perform a

similar function. Suggested answers are provided. The worksheets are good for

homework, or classwork, and excellent for setting work when a teacher is absent. They are

not quite as innovative as the literature claims but do add variety to teaching. The recently

added A2 packs on the labour market and international economics are a welcome edition.
