ABSTRACT

Psychology Program at Lehigh University since 1971, the same year that he received his doctorate in counseling from West Virginia University. His major areas of research and teaching include marriage and family counseling, group processes, and adolescent suicide. Throughout his career, Dr. Palmo has been actively involved in various professional groups, including serving as the chair of the North Atlantic Region of the American Association for Counseling and Development and representing the region on the MCD Board. In addition, he is a past -preSident of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association. Dr. Palmo has published numerous journals and recently co-authored a text on group counseling.
