ABSTRACT
J. Jeffries McWhirter is a Professor in the Counseling Psychology program in the Division of Psychology in Education at Arizona State University. He received his Ph.D. in counseling psychology in 1969 from the University of Oregon. Prior to receiving his doctorate, he was graduated from St. Martin's College (Olympia, Washington) and holds masters degrees from Oregon State University and the University of Oregon.
