ABSTRACT
Rosch (this volume) makes the provocative assertion that there are two classification systems—prototypical and logical—each of which has its origins in infancy and an independent course of development thereafter. Unfortunately, she does not go on to support the assertion but, rather, shifts to a different question concerning the influence of one system upon reasoning.
