ABSTRACT
Hypnosis is a highly subjective experience, for no two people experience it in exactly the same way. Presented in this chapter are some of the more prominent general characteristics, both psychological and physical, associated with the hypnotic experience. Table 1 lists common characteristics manifested by the individual in hypnosis.
