ABSTRACT

Creative play is an essential element in learning. Through this we can help young children explore and learn for themselves by engaging them in tasks that make the experience real. It's been said that, to develop empathy, you must walk a mile in another's shoes. It helps us understand the world around us, if we can put ourselves in different situations, and think what we might learn from each experience. This is something we do naturally as we get older, and we can encourage children to get into the habit of using this life skill from an early age.
