ABSTRACT
In this chapter I want to focus on the post-positivist pragmatist praxis of William James. Initially I develop the post-positivist praxis in James, subsequently showing how James anticipated open systems praxis and went beyond where it still is today. Three paths are developed in their praxis aspects, as described below.
